Introduction

Garage organization is crucial today for both efficiency and appearance. Most people don’t want to wade through junk and tools lying on the floor, hunting for whatever they need to complete a specific task. Certain drawers house specific tools, and hangers and shelves can be organized for particular tools as well. Neat, clean, and organized is well worth the effort and cost.

WHAT IS AVAILABLE FOR GARAGE ORGANIZATION?

Knowing what is available extends the limits of the garage. Your Granny isn’t designing your mancave. This isn’t just an area for your yard tools and some boxes of junk; no longer acceptable for the spare bedroom. We are men…our garage is our happy place. We want a combination race shop and hangout. A fridge and some chairs, along with a poster of some guy flying over the handlebars of an overpowered motorcycle, are standard.
HERE ARE 10 GREAT IDEAS FOR GARAGE ORGANIZATION

This wall organizer comes with 3 racks, 16″ long for a total of 48″. It includes 9 hooks total(3 different styles), extension cord straps, and mounting hardware. It is steel, sturdy, and my favorite…paintable. It is better than lag bolts in a 2×4, which was my dad’s favorite. It will support a total of 675 pounds provided you don’t screw it straight into the sheet rock and provides a manly look for the garage.
A power strip is a necessity for an organization. This unit is commercial grade. It has 6 copper-coated outlets and 2 1000 lumen LEDs with 90-degree capability. There are 2 USB ports for charging, and I love the yellow on black. It can be mounted to the wall as well, preferably behind the workbench.

This 5-tier shelf is 48″ high and 72″ wide. The sturdy construction provides capability of holding 3000 pounds. It’s 18.9″ deep and the shelves can be adjusted for different-sized items. It’s made of aluminum honeycomb, and it’s boltless.

Slat walls are more popular in businesses, but look great in the garage. They provide a lot of storage, even though they take up a lot of wall space. Check before buying because sometimes hooks are an option.

These last 2 items are specialty…this is a bike rack that swivels. These are solid steel and can hold a bicycle that weighs up to 66.2 pounds. Installation is quick and easy, but it is recommended to put it on a supported wall or in stud work.
I know fishing poles aren’t always considered garage equipment, but a lot of men fish, and being one of those fishermen, I think a fishing pole rack is a great idea. This fishing pole rack holds up to 9 rods neatly and close to a wall and comes in multiple colors.
